For anyone looking for a relatable, reliable, and entertaining road map through puberty, don’t miss Pediatrician and New York Times best-selling author Dr. Cara Natterson at Paul Revere Middle School on TUESDAY, NOV. 12 from 8:30-10 a.m.

Dr. Natterson is the co-host of This Is So Awkward (podcast) and co-author of the  best-selling book This Is So Awkward: Modern Puberty Explained as well as a parent of teens.

In her talk, she’ll offer adults raising kids between ages 8-18 a handbook packed with eye-opening and reassuring answers to broad-ranging questions about everything from basics (acne, body odor, growth spurts...) to new challenges (mental health, sports overspecialization, and hook- up culture).

We all benefit from understanding the science behind hormone-driven physical, emotional and social changes. Dr. Natterson explains it all, and then offers detailed strategies for how to talk to tweens and teens.
