Description: Grows to 30-60 feet. Grows 12-24 inches each season. Bark is green/light gray and has spikes, around an inch long. The trunk is oval/rounded. Grows best in sandy soil. Fruit is inedible. Name Chorisia Speciosa is named after Ludwig Choris, who was an artist who sailed around the world.
