hi this is Miss Robertson I want to tell you a little bit about our agriculture program of Paul Revere we are a unique program the last farm at school on the westside in our program include culture gardening animals and also natural resource education behind you can see some of the animals that are parents support and everyday at lunch with over 100 students to join us at the farm and interact with the animals. science for the students are engaging in a vet tech program and the animals are really the highlight of for a lot of students who attend Paul Revere parent volunteers I really appreciate your support. what makes our program so unique is that it's a Hands-On elective students really do get to go outside they take care of the farm that includes managing weeds with malt that includes planting herbs and vegetables in the spring we're going to be putting in several new fruit trees this year and we even have a vineyard with several different types of great for a lot of students who live in an urban area before they are great because they're small animals are less intimidating and they love being held and cuddled and having that up close experience with a smaller animals prepare students to work with the larger animals including our goats and pigs and students manage all aspects of animal care I'm not just food and water but also management like hook trimming nails for me vaccines and even giving them a bath in the springtime pipe ride thank you so much for all you've done for the library in our students we have some great flexible feeding up kids are able to use they also come with charging case until eventually I'll be able to plug them in and the kids can charge their iPad we also have these really great signs that price I paid for so it makes it easier for the kids to find books when they want to read them our beautiful floor which is going to make it so much easier to clean and also the paint it was really weird yellow colored and now it's just a plain babe that we can decorate and put signs up and I'm just really excited for all generosity.
