PRIDE Welcome Letter
PARENT RESOURCES FOR INDIVIDUAL DEVELOPMENT ‘PRIDE’
June 2024
Dear Families,Welcome/Welcome back to Paul Revere Middle School! We at the board of PRIDE look forward to an enriching and enjoyable school year ahead.
Our board is a team of dedicated volunteer parents who work together to implement strategy and raise money to bring meaningful enrichment programs that add value to the public curricular offering of an LAUSD middle school. We hope to be able to draw from the strength of the school community and the diversity of over 1,700 students who attend this school from 99 different zip codes to enrich our school and bring new perspectives to the year ahead.
As we look ahead to the new school year, we are always looking for ways to improve the middle school experience for our students and to communicate effectively with our parents. Our joint parent board of PRIDE and PTSA give their time and talent to improve and enrich our school, by raising money and working closely with the administration to offer resources that improve the school experience for our students.
A year-round campaign of fundraising is made successful through the participation of families like yours, which helps make this school exceptional. The money raised helps fund smaller class sizes through hired auxiliaries, a state-of-the-art computer lab that can support teaching coding and digital imaging, activities such as the Literary Anthology and the Reflections Art Contest as well as security, grounds maintenance, beautification, and a host of other services that improve our school.
